Meet Diane!
Diane is our brave boss babe. She graduated from the VIU hairdressing program in 2014. Diane joined the banged team in 2019 and took over as owner in 2023. She loves education, and is forever pushing herself to grow and to be the best possible stylist she can be for you and her staff. Diane spent half her career educating for L’Oreal Professional, she recently stepped away from educating outside the salon to focus on educating and mentoring new stylists inside banged. Diane absolutely adores cutting bobs, dementional colors, blondes and funky colors . Diane’s books are currently closed to new clients, but she would be happy to recommend any of her fellow stylists to you! Diane enjoys connections. When she isn’t connecting with you behind the chair, she’s spending quality time with her friends, family, and partner. She loves all things outdoors, including hiking, camping, and kayaking. If Diane’s not outdoors, you’ll find her cuddled up with her cat, Chloe, reading a good book.
Meet Ashley!
Ashley has been in the beauty industry for over 12 years. Graduating from Blanche McDonald School for make up in 2010. She spent time in Tofino working in a Hair Salon doing makeup for many bridal parties, then she decided to extend her schooling at VIU to include hairstyling . Ash Graduated from the Hair dressing program in 2018. Hair has become her passion. She loves making her clients hair goals come true. Ashleys favorite service include dimensional brunettes and vivid pops of colors. she is always educating herself in the latest techniques and trends. She is a born and raised Nanaimo gal and loves all this beautiful island has to offer.
Ashley is a mother to 3 beautiful daughters and two fur babies Tucker and Harley (chihuahuas)

Meet Larkin!
Larkin graduated from the VIU hair dressing Program in 2020. Larkin joined the Banged team in 2022 and loves all things blonde! She is our lead stylist in hand tied hair extensions. Larkin will make your long hair dreams come true! Have you thought about extensions? Book in today for a complementary consultation. Larkin is a lover of all animals, she has a bunny rabbit named bugs and Milo the cubby beaglier. When Larkin isn’t at he salon you can find her at a country music festival or at brunch this girl loves a good mimosa!

Hello, I’m Suzanne, a passionate and talented hairdresser joining the amazing team at Banged Hair Salon. I recently graduated from hairdressing school at Vancouver Island University, and I’m super excited to kickstart my career in the industry! My heart lies in specializing in color and updos, both inside and outside of work. When I’m not creating fabulous hair, you can find me spending quality time with my family, exploring the great outdoors through hiking and camping adventures.
